I just went to Yelp Phoenix and found this list of the top five restaurants where two have well over 1000 reviews.
Below I break down the top 5 restaurants per yelp and went a little bit more in depth.
Per yelp.. the #1 Restaurant in Phoenix is Little Miss BBQ…
I have been here and have to say their BBQ is great hands down however you have to make sure you get there at the right times since once they run out of BBQ they close down for the day.
The location is a bit shady off University however, their establishment is authentic and makes you forget you are in a bad part of Phoenix and gives you that backyard feel and like you find a gem BBQ location.
On google they have 4.8 rating out of 357 reviews so Google reviewers also agree this is the best barbecue restaurant.
Little Miss BBQ got it’s start as a competitive barbecue team. They are open Tuesday- Saturday from 11:00AM until 4:00PM (or until sold out) so get there early.
#2 On Yelp Phoenix’s list for the top restaurants in Phoenix is the Welcome Diner
The Welcome Diner has a 4.6 rating on Google out of 215 reviews so again this coincides with yelpers are rating this old school diner.
They are located in downtown Phoenix at 924 E. Roosevelt St. Phoenix, AZ 85006 and are open from Tuesday to Sunday from 5pm until 2am.
They scratch make all their meals with the best ingredients and are a fun, eclectic place with amazing biscuits, mac and cheese, and delicious braised pork or jackfruit fries.

They also have 11 google reviews that are all 5 stars! They are known for Global street food, craft cocktails & draft brews in a roomy, art-driven bar with two large patios.
