I’ve lived in the Valley my whole life and I can count on one hand the artists who can sell out the Cardinals’ building on a non-football night. Ye’s April opener at SoFi Stadium moved 74,389 tickets and grossed $18 million in a single night, a hip-hop single-show record, and the tour has since played Istanbul, Arnhem, New Orleans, San Antonio and Chicago. Glendale is one of three new U.S. stadium dates added on September 1, alongside Houston’s Reliant Stadium on Halloween and AT&T Stadium in Arlington on November 7. Phoenix is the closer.

⚡ AZ INSIDER TIP

Presale and public onsale are both at 10 a.m. Arizona time. We don’t observe daylight saving, so in September that’s 10 a.m. Pacific and 1 p.m. Eastern. Out-of-state friends who set an alarm for “10 a.m. their time” will miss the window. And bring your patience for the Loop 101: the day-of drive from Scottsdale or Chandler to Glendale runs 45 to 60 minutes on a normal Saturday and stretches past 90 on stadium nights.

How to get Ye tickets for the Glendale show

There are three lanes, and they open in this order:

  1. Free-ticket pre-registration (open now). The official tour site at tour.yeezy.com is taking email and phone sign-ups for the Phoenix date. The site says a few pre-registrants will be selected to receive free tickets. It costs nothing and takes 20 seconds. Do it before Tuesday.
  2. Presale: Tuesday, September 8 at 10 a.m. Presale access details had not been published as of this writing. Check the State Farm Stadium event page and SeatGeek the morning of for the access route. Registering at the tour site is the most likely way to be on the list.
  3. General onsale: Thursday, September 10 at 10 a.m. SeatGeek is the official ticketing platform for State Farm Stadium. Parking passes for the stadium lots are sold through SeatGeek as well, and the stadium recommends buying them in advance.

What tickets will cost: pricing hadn’t been released when this post went up. For context, the SoFi Stadium shows in April grossed $18 million per night on about 74,000 tickets, which works out to an average north of $240 per seat including premium inventory. Expect a wide spread between upper-deck Terrace Level seats and floor or Club Level. I’ll update this section with actual price tiers once the onsale opens.

⚠️ Watch for resale markups before onsale

Secondary-market listings for this show appeared within hours of the announcement, before a single official ticket had been sold. Those are speculative listings. Until Thursday, September 10, the only legitimate sources are the tour site’s free-ticket registration and the presale. Anything else is someone betting they can buy low on Thursday and sell to you high.

What the Ye Live show actually looks like

This isn’t a standard arena set. The Ye Live production puts him on a spherical stage with Earth and moon imagery projected across it, backed by fireworks and large-scale visuals. It’s built for stadiums, which is why the tour skipped Footprint Center and Desert Diamond Arena entirely and went straight to the Cardinals’ building.

There is no announced opener. That has been consistent across the 2026 run. Instead of a support act, shows have featured surprise guests that vary by city: Travis Scott, Lauryn Hill and North West at SoFi, Ty Dolla $ign in New Orleans. Don’t plan around an opening act, and don’t show up late assuming you’ll miss one.

Two things worth knowing about State Farm Stadium for a show like this:

  • The roof retracts. A late-November evening in Glendale typically runs from the low 70s at sunset into the low 50s by the end of the night. Whether the roof is open is an event-day call, so dress in layers. If it’s open and the show runs long, you’ll want the hoodie.
  • The field tray rolls out. The grass field moves outside the building on a rail system for concerts, which is why floor configurations here are large and flat. Floor tickets put you closest to the sphere; lower-level sideline sections (roughly the 100s along the long sides) give the best full-production view.

Ye’s public conduct over the past several years has been the subject of extensive coverage, including the release of a song titled “Heil Hitler” and a series of inflammatory social media posts, several of which led to cancelled European dates in 2026. He has attributed the behavior to bipolar disorder and a prolonged manic episode. Whether that factors into your decision to attend is up to you. This post covers the logistics.

State Farm Stadium parking for the Ye concert

The stadium sits in Glendale’s Sports and Entertainment District off Loop 101, between Cardinals Way and Glendale Avenue, about 30 minutes from Sky Harbor without traffic. Parking is split into color-coded lots. The stadium is cashless, including the parking lots, so have a card ready.

Lot How to get in Best for
General (Blue) Glendale Avenue or Cardinals Way exits off Loop 101, or surface streets via 91st and 99th Avenues. Staff direct you to the nearest open lot. Most attendees. Buy in advance on SeatGeek.
Preferred (Red) Enter only at Maryland Avenue and 95th Avenue. From the south, exit 101 at Cardinals Way. From the north, exit at Glendale Ave, west to 99th, east on Maryland. Search “Red Lot – State Farm Stadium” in Waze. Shortest walk, fastest exit. Sells out first.
Black Lot South of the stadium. Designated rideshare, family and friends drop-off and pickup zone. Uber, Lyft, and anyone getting dropped off.
Westgate garages Paid garages and surface lots in the Westgate Entertainment District, a short walk north of the stadium across Glendale Avenue. Dinner before, drinks after, and skipping the stadium lot exit crawl.

Lot opening time for concerts is posted on the stadium’s event page a few days out rather than fixed in advance (Cardinals games open lots four hours before kickoff; concerts vary). Lots close one hour after the event ends, which for a show that could run past 10 p.m. means you’re not lingering.

💡 The West Valley exit strategy

Everyone leaving the blue lots funnels back onto the 101 at the same two ramps. If you’re headed back east to Scottsdale, Tempe or the East Valley, park at Westgate instead, walk over, and after the show grab a drink at Yard House or Thirsty Lion while the lots empty out. Forty-five minutes later you’ll be on an open freeway instead of sitting in it. If you’re coming from Goodyear or Buckeye, the surface-street route up 99th Avenue avoids the 101 entirely.

State Farm Stadium bag policy and what you can’t bring

State Farm Stadium runs the NFL clear-bag standard, and they enforce it with cardboard size templates at the gate. The rules, per the stadium’s published policy:

  • Allowed: one clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12″ × 6″ × 12″, including clear backpacks and clear fanny packs. Tinted bags are not allowed.
  • Allowed: one small non-clear clutch or wallet no larger than 4.5″ × 6.5″, with or without a strap.
  • Allowed: one factory-sealed, non-frozen 500 mL (16.9 oz) plain bottle of water. No sports drinks, no flavored water, no cans, no glass.
  • Not allowed: outside food (except for children under two), coolers, umbrellas over 12 inches, selfie sticks, professional camera lenses, GoPros, video cameras, laptops, noisemakers, and any bag that fails the size test.
  • If your bag fails: bag check is available on the East and West sides of the stadium for a fee (local reporting has put it at around $20). Otherwise you walk it back to the car or throw it out. Security will not hold it for you.

Everyone goes through metal detectors and a bag search. Mobile ticketing is the standard, so have your SeatGeek app loaded and your phone charged before you get in line. Screenshots are a gamble.

Where to eat and drink at Westgate before the show

The Westgate Entertainment District is directly north of the stadium and walkable. On stadium nights every restaurant here is slammed from about 4 p.m., so book a table if the spot takes reservations, or plan to eat by 5. All hours and addresses below were verified through Google as of September 1, 2026.

Yard House · 9401 W Westgate Blvd

The safest big-group bet at Westgate: 100-plus taps, a menu that covers everyone, and a room large enough that you’ll usually get seated. Open until 1 a.m. on Saturdays, which makes it the after-show move too. (623) 872-3900.

Thirsty Lion Gastropub · 9445 W Entertainment Blvd

Attached to the Renaissance hotel and a notch quieter than the Westgate core. Solid cocktails, a real dinner menu, and takes reservations. Closes at 11 p.m. Saturdays. (480) 944-5165.

Twin Peaks · 6922 N 95th Ave

Sports-bar format with a large patio, cold beer and quick kitchen turns. Best if you want to be in and out in 45 minutes. Open until 1 a.m. Saturdays. (623) 233-5700.

Tulum Modern Mexican · 6770 N Sunrise Blvd, Suite G207

The date-night option in the district: modern Mexican, steaks, seafood and a cocktail program, with happy hour specials early. Opens at 2 p.m. Saturdays, runs to midnight. (623) 335-2613.

NakedQ BBQ · 9405 W Glendale Ave, Suite 120

Counter-service Arizona barbecue, brisket and smoked sausage by the plate, fast enough to eat before doors. Closes at 9 p.m., so it’s a before-only option. (623) 230-2199.

For drinks: Bar Louie (6770 N Sunrise Blvd) and Fat Tuesday (6751 N Sunset Blvd) both run until 1 or 2 a.m. on Saturdays and sit in the center of the district. Carousel Watch Bar (same Sunrise Blvd complex) is open until 2 a.m. and is the least-known of the three. Chicken N Pickle at 9330 W Hanna Lane has a big outdoor bar and pickleball courts if you’re arriving early with a group.

Yes. Ye plays State Farm Stadium in Glendale, in the west Phoenix metro, on Saturday, November 21, 2026. It was announced September 1 as one of three new U.S. dates on the Ye Live Concert Tour and is the only Arizona stop.

When do Ye Phoenix tickets go on sale?

Presale is Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 10 a.m. Arizona time. General onsale is Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 10 a.m. Arizona time, through SeatGeek. Free-ticket pre-registration is open now at tour.yeezy.com.

Is the concert in Phoenix or Glendale?

Glendale. State Farm Stadium is at 1 Cardinals Drive, Glendale, AZ 85305, off Loop 101 about 15 miles west of downtown Phoenix. The tour site labels the date “Phoenix” because Glendale is part of the metro, but if you’re booking a hotel or plugging in navigation, use Glendale.

Who is opening for Ye in Phoenix?

No opener has been announced, and there hasn’t been a traditional support act at any 2026 date. Shows have instead featured unannounced guest appearances that change by city. Plan on arriving for the listed 7 p.m. start.

How much are Kanye West tickets for State Farm Stadium?

Prices had not been released as of September 1, 2026. This section will be updated with the official tiers when the presale opens on September 8.

When was the last time Kanye West performed in Arizona?

January 2020, at the Awaken 2020 event at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe. The November 21 show is his first metro Phoenix appearance in almost seven years and his first at State Farm Stadium.

Only if it’s clear and no larger than 12″ × 6″ × 12″, or a non-clear clutch no larger than 4.5″ × 6.5″. Regular purses and backpacks will be turned away at the gate. Bag check on the East and West sides charges a fee.

Where do I get dropped off by Uber or Lyft?
