⚡ QUICK ANSWER

Where should you cowork in Tucson?

Tucson is an independents’ town, and the best three are all locally owned. Downtown, The L Offices on Congress Street has the most amenities in the city, down to a gym and golf simulator. On the east side, Spoke Coworking runs two locations, including the whole top floor of the 5151 E Broadway tower. In the northwest, The Post Workspaces on Oracle Road is the easiest day pass in town.

Expect to pay less than Phoenix at every tier. Listed day passes start around $25.

Coworking in Tucson does not orbit one downtown core the way it does in Phoenix. It runs along the roads people actually drive: Congress and Stone downtown, Broadway and Speedway heading east, River Road through the Catalina Foothills, and Oracle Road up toward Oro Valley. Pick the corridor closest to where you live and where you meet clients, then pick the space.

Best coworking spaces in downtown Tucson

Downtown means Congress Street, Stone Avenue and Church Avenue: walkable to the courts, city and county offices, and the restaurants along Congress and Fourth Avenue, with the Sun Link streetcar running out to the University of Arizona. It is the right address if your clients are lawyers, government, or anyone who lunches downtown.

⚡ EDITOR’S PICK — DOWNTOWN

The L Offices Downtown

130 E Congress St, Ste 200, Tucson, AZ 85701 · (520) 333-6691

The most amenity-packed coworking space in Tucson, upstairs on Congress Street. Members list things no other Tucson space offers in one place: a gym with showers, a golf simulator, a massage therapy room, a boutique, a coffee bar, a board room and an event space. A reviewer who has worked from more than thirty coworking spaces around the country calls it the best of them.

The L is locally owned and runs three Tucson locations: this one, the North location on River Road below, and a third at Broadway and Craycroft. The downtown space photographs well, and photographers book it for shoots.

Pioneer Tucson

100 N Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701 · (888) 668-1331

Coworking and private offices inside the historic Pioneer building, with some of the lowest rates downtown. Entry is by a code emailed to you, staffing is light, and the space is quiet. Conference rooms are a good value for trainings of about fifteen people.

One practical warning: the listing says 24 hours, but a recent visitor reports the space was really accessible about 7am to 5:30pm. Confirm your access hours before you book.

Also worth touring downtown

  • Downtown Executive Offices — 2 E Congress St, #804 · (520) 202-7300 · Mon–Fri 9am–4:30pm. Private offices and a conference room, with fair pricing and a responsive staff according to tenants. A good first office for a solo professional.
  • Regus Downtown Tucson — One South Church, 1 S Church Ave, #1200 · (520) 448-5100 · Listed for 24-hour access. The national-brand option downtown, with wired ethernet and solid internet. Reviews are mixed: members like the mail service and some staff, while others report unexpected fees, billing disputes and a last-minute cancelled booking. Read every line of the agreement.

East Tucson: the Broadway and Speedway corridor

East of the university, Broadway and Speedway carry the city’s office corridor out past Williams Centre. This is where Tucson’s largest office building sits, where parking is free, and where most of the east-side professional services work. If you live east of Swan, start here.

⚡ EDITOR’S PICK — EAST SIDE

Spoke Coworking (Speedway and Tower Suites)

6700 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85710 · 5151 E Broadway Blvd, #1700, Tucson, AZ 85711 · (520) 477-2777 · Staffed Mon–Fri 8am–5pm

Owner-run by David and Christine Tosi, who started it after running a technology company, and it shows in the details: enterprise-grade internet, sit-stand desks with large monitors, sound-proof phone booths, and a bean-to-cup coffee machine members mention constantly. The Speedway location has hot desks, private suites, a lounge and café, a game room and a shaded patio, across the street from El Dorado golf course.

The newer Tower Suites take the entire 17th floor of 5151 E Broadway, Tucson’s largest office building: 56 private suites from 45 to 330 square feet, semi-private desks, three conference rooms and mountain views, with a gym in the building. Therapists and other practitioners who need sound control have moved their offices here and say so in reviews.

Listed: team suite for up to 4 at $1,250/month (Speedway) · virtual office from $55/month

Also worth touring on the east side

  • The L Offices — Broadway & Craycroft — 5255 E Williams Centre, Ste 1065 · (520) 333-6691 (main line). The east-side location of The L, for people who want The L’s style of space without driving downtown.
  • HQ — 4560 E Broadway Blvd — 1st and 2nd floors. A new IWG location opening in October 2026, with 24/7 access for private office and dedicated-desk members. Listed from $189/month for coworking and $209/month for a virtual office. Too new for a track record; tour before you commit.

North Tucson: River Road, Oracle Road and Oro Valley

The Catalina Foothills and the Oracle Road corridor are where a lot of Tucson’s business owners live, and where the independents have built the strongest communities. Parking is free, the mountains are out the window, and Oro Valley is a short drive up the road.

⚡ EDITOR’S PICK — NORTHWEST

The Post Workspaces

7400 N Oracle Rd, Ste 150, Tucson, AZ 85704 · (520) 999-2391 · Staffed Mon–Fri 8am–5pm

Founded by a longtime Tucson commercial real estate broker who spent two years touring coworking spaces around the country before opening, and the result is the best drop-in experience in town. Plug into dual monitors at the desk, book a sound-insulated phone booth for calls, and drink Cartel Coffee from the stocked kitchen. Getting a day pass is easy, and the front-desk team gets named in review after review.

Dedicated-desk members get 24/7 access, a business address with mail and package handling, and monthly meeting-room credits. One thing to know before your first visit: The Post asks for a government photo ID to activate your first day pass.

Listed day pass: from $25

The L Offices North

1860 E River Rd, Ste 325, Tucson, AZ 85718 · (520) 333-6691 · Staffed Mon–Fri 8:30am–4:30pm

The L’s Foothills location at River and Campbell, and a favorite room for Tucson seminars. The full event space seats about 80, and companies run continuing-education courses here with their own catering. A networking group meets on site, and members say the professional crowd is the reason they stay. Office here virtually or in person.

Mindshare Co-work Club

5669 N Oracle Rd, Ste 2102, Tucson, AZ 85704 · (520) 329-4954 · Listed for 24-hour access

Built for people who make content. The lighting throughout was designed for photo and video, so a shot taken anywhere in the space looks professional, and there are podcast and photography setups with guides for using them. Private pods and a conference room are easy to book by the hour, which makes it handy for visitors staying in Oro Valley too.

Intelligent Office — Tucson and Oro Valley

3430 E Sunrise Dr, #180, Tucson, AZ 85718 · (520) 317-7477
1846 E Innovation Park Dr, Oro Valley, AZ 85755 · (520) 348-4912 · Both staffed Mon–Fri 8am–5pm

Less a coworking room than a professional front office. The draw is the staff: live phone answering, reception for your clients, and private offices you book when you need them. If your business runs on a phone line you cannot always pick up, this is the one. Some members use both locations.

What coworking costs in Tucson in 2026

Tucson is cheaper than Phoenix and Scottsdale at every tier. Like most markets, though, few operators print a full price list on their own site; these are starting prices from public booking listings on October 21, 2026.

⚠️ Ask about fees and renewals, not just the rate

The complaints in Tucson reviews are almost all about money that was not in the quote: restoration fees, late fees charged during a billing dispute, and renewal increases. Before you sign, ask for every recurring and one-time fee in writing, and the maximum increase at renewal.

What to check before you sign in Tucson

  1. Door hours versus staffed hours. Most Tucson spaces are staffed 8am to 5pm. Summer days over 100 degrees push a lot of people to start early; make sure your tier opens the door when you need it.
  2. Monsoon backup. July through September, storms and dust take out power. Ask what happens to the internet when they do.
  3. Winter visitors. From November to April, snowbirds and seasonal visitors fill day passes and short-term offices. Book ahead if you need a guaranteed room.
  4. The address you will print. If the main goal is a business address for your LLC or Google listing, a virtual membership is far cheaper than an office. Check your entity’s details with our Arizona business search guide first.

⚡ AZ INSIDER TIP

Tucson’s independents compete on community, not ad budgets, so the fastest way to choose is to show up for their events. The networking group at The L North and Spoke’s member gatherings tell you more in an hour than a sales tour. If you land downtown, end the day with wine tasting in downtown Tucson.

How this list was built

Every space above is a real, operating Tucson-area business with its address, phone and hours checked against its Google listing, and its member reviews read in full. Nobody paid to be included, nobody paid to be ranked higher, and there is no sponsored tier: curated quality, zero pay-to-rank.

That is also why nothing on this page links out to the businesses listed. Inclusion is free and editorial; a link back to your website is not part of it. If you want a backlink and a full listing in the AZ Charged directory, see the advertising options.
