Where should you cowork in Scottsdale?
Pick the neighborhood first. In Old Town, Industrious on Drinkwater is the most polished all-rounder and Empire is the social, event-driven room. Up at Kierland, Lucid Private Offices is the private-office pick and Industrious Kierland Commons is the easiest place to book a desk for the day. In the middle, around Gainey Ranch, Catalyst Workspaces suits small teams that want short terms.
Listed day passes run from about $35 to $63. Lucid lets you work the rest of the day free after a tour, which is the cheapest way to test a room before you commit.
Scottsdale is a long city. Old Town to Kierland is roughly nine miles straight up Scottsdale Road, and the two ends attract different people: Old Town runs on walkable lunches and client drinks, Kierland runs on the Loop 101 and people who live in North Scottsdale and refuse to drive south. The spaces below are grouped by where they actually sit, because the wrong neighborhood will cost you more in commute than any membership difference.
If you are comparing Scottsdale against the rest of the Valley, the Phoenix coworking guide covers downtown and Midtown Phoenix, the Camelback Corridor, Tempe and the East Valley.
The short list: which Scottsdale space fits which person
Most people only need to tour two places. Find your row, tour those, and skip the rest.
| If you are… | Tour first | Area |
|---|---|---|
| Meeting clients in Old Town and want zero surprises | Industrious Old Town | Old Town |
| Building a network and want a room with energy | Empire Scottsdale | Old Town |
| A professional who needs a private office with a door | Lucid Kierland or Lucid Old Town | Kierland / Old Town |
| Living in North Scottsdale and want a day desk | Industrious Kierland Commons | Kierland |
| A two-to-five person team that wants short terms | Catalyst Workspaces | Gainey Ranch |
| Coming in from Tempe or Mesa for meetings | The Enclave | South Scottsdale |
| Working nights or weekends and need the door open | Spaces Old Town Galleria or Spaces Quarter | Old Town / Kierland |
Best coworking spaces in Old Town Scottsdale
Old Town, roughly Camelback Road down to Indian School and from Scottsdale Road over to the canal, has the densest cluster of coworking in the city. You can walk to lunch, walk a client to drinks, and on a winter afternoon you will not want to be anywhere else. The tradeoff is parking: almost every Old Town space charges for it or sends you to a garage.
Industrious Old Town
4250 N Drinkwater Blvd, Ste 300, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 · (480) 305-1000 · Staffed Mon–Fri 9am–5pm
The most consistent operation in Old Town. Members write about the same things over and over: the front-desk team by name, daily breakfast and snacks, coffee good enough that people come in on their work-from-home days, and an outdoor terrace overlooking Old Town that is the best place in the city to work from October through April. Monthly office members get 24/7 access.
Parking is in the garage, covered on the third level and below, at $2 an hour or $10 a day as listed. If you are coming every day, ask what the monthly parking rate is before you sign, because it adds up.
Listed day pass: from $63 · Meeting rooms from $25/hour
Industrious Scottsdale Fashion Square
7014 E Camelback Rd, Ste B100A, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 · (480) 305-1055 · Staffed Mon–Fri 9am–5pm
Same Industrious standard as Drinkwater a mile away, but physically inside Scottsdale Fashion Square. That cuts both ways, and members are honest about it: the space, the views and the events get high marks, while parking is the recurring complaint unless you pay for valet, since a spot can mean a walk through the mall to your desk. Good fit for teams that want several offices under one roof; one member company holds five here.
Lucid Private Offices — Scottsdale / Old Town
4800 N Scottsdale Rd, Ste 4500, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 · (480) 780-1507 · Staffed Mon–Fri 8:30am–5pm
Opened in May 2026 on the fourth floor of 4800 North Scottsdale Road: about 20,000 square feet of private offices, team suites and three meeting rooms, with a fitness center and dining in the building, unlimited coffee, and receptionist and mail service. It sits at the north edge of Old Town, close to Scottsdale Fashion Square.
It is new, but early reviews are uniformly strong, and members keep mentioning the Thursday social hour as the easiest way to meet the people down the hall. If you want a quiet, lockable office in Old Town rather than an open-plan desk, this is the one to compare against Industrious.
Empire Scottsdale
3625 N Bishop Ln, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 · (480) 319-7170 · Staffed Mon–Fri 9am–5pm
The most-reviewed coworking space in Scottsdale, and the most social. Empire doubles as an event and networking venue with a liquor license, phone booths, private desks and meeting rooms, and dogs are welcome. Travelers on long Sky Harbor layovers turn up in the reviews, which tells you the day pass is easy to buy.
Know what you are walking into. The same energy that members love reads as a party venue to some visitors, and at least one recent review describes a bad experience with people associated with the space. Tour during the hours you would actually work, and on an event night if you can, before you sign.
Listed day pass: from $35
Spaces Old Town Galleria
4343 N Scottsdale Rd, #150, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 · (623) 289-3400 · Listed for 24-hour access
The IWG brand’s Old Town location, walkable to everything, with round-the-clock access that most Old Town spaces do not offer. Tenants who have been here for years praise the on-site community manager by name.
The warning here is specific: one tenant on a 12-month office lease at $675 a month reports being quoted $1,800 a month at renewal. That is the renewal trap described further down, and it is the single most important question to ask at this brand. Get the renewal cap in writing.
Listed from: $129/mo coworking · $235/mo dedicated desk · $469/mo private office · $225/mo virtual
Central and south Scottsdale: Gainey Ranch, Shea and McDowell
Doubletree Ranch Road at Scottsdale Road is the quiet middle of the city: Gainey Ranch, resorts, golf, and office buildings with surface parking that is actually free. It is the best compromise if half your clients are in Old Town and half are up north. Further south, McDowell Road puts you minutes from the Loop 101 and Tempe.
Catalyst Workspaces
7337 E Doubletree Ranch Rd, Ste 200, Scottsdale, AZ 85258 · (480) 582-2200 · Staffed Mon–Fri 8am–5pm
Built for small tenants and short terms in the heart of Gainey Ranch, which is exactly what a two-to-five person company needs and what the national brands handle worst. Modern finishes, good break areas, and offices with balconies, which in March and April is reason enough. Every review we found is positive, and members call it good value and easy to work with.
The Enclave
8101 E McDowell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257 · (480) 387-3990 · Staffed Mon–Fri 8am–5pm
Two stories with full kitchens on both floors, private offices, conference rooms, a podcast room, private phone rooms, and a wellness room with a massage chair. It sits near the Loop 101 in south Scottsdale, so it is as easy to reach from Tempe and Mesa as from Old Town. The large conference room rents by the day, and associations and continuing-education classes use it for exactly that.
Also worth touring in central Scottsdale
- Regus Gainey Ranch — 7702 E Doubletree Ranch Rd, Ste 300 · (480) 348-3900. Recently remodeled, with views and a quiet setting, and listed for 24-hour access. Listed from $129/mo coworking, $235/mo dedicated desk, $409/mo private office and $205/mo virtual. Same renewal caution as any IWG location.
- 94 Hundred Corporate Center — 9375 E Shea Blvd, Ste 100 · (480) 214-9500 · Mon–Fri 8:30am–4pm. Executive suites rather than coworking: you lease an office, not a desk. Owner-run, with plenty of parking and a business park around it. Read the early-termination clause carefully; one tenant reports a dispute over it.
North Scottsdale: Kierland and Scottsdale Quarter
Scottsdale Road and Greenway, where Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter face each other, is now the second coworking hub in the city. It serves the people who live in DC Ranch, Grayhawk and McDowell Mountain Ranch and work a short drive from home, with the Loop 101 a minute away for everyone else. Parking here is mostly free surface parking, which Old Town cannot match.
Lucid Private Offices — Kierland / North Scottsdale
16220 N Scottsdale Rd, Ste 300, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 · (623) 432-9028 · Staffed Mon–Fri 8:30am–5pm
The best-reviewed coworking space in North Scottsdale. About 100 private offices and several larger company suites across 25,000 square feet on the third floor of the MAX at Kierland building, with views toward the McDowell Mountains, Camelback and Kierland Golf Course. The building adds a ground-floor coffee shop and lounge, patios, EV charging and both surface and garage parking.
Reviews here read the same way as at Lucid’s other Valley locations: a community manager named again and again, offices described as clean and quiet, and weekly events that make it easy to meet the other tenants. Lucid lets you tour and then stay to work the rest of the day for free, so you can test it on a real workday before signing.
Industrious Kierland Commons
15051 N Kierland Blvd, Ste 300 (2nd and 3rd floors), Scottsdale, AZ 85254 · (480) 856-3772 · Staffed Mon–Fri 9am–5pm
Industrious’s North Scottsdale location, upstairs in Kierland Commons with free surface parking across the shopping center. Coworking, private offices and on-demand meeting rooms, plus a podcast room. One member points out what makes it unusual: availability and pricing are listed online and you can book without a sales call.
Listed day pass: from $50 · Meeting rooms from $50/hour
Spaces Scottsdale Quarter
15169 N Scottsdale Rd, Ste 205, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 · (480) 841-5450 · Listed for 24-hour access
The 24-hour option at the Quarter, with walking access to the Quarter’s restaurants and Kierland Commons across Scottsdale Road. Reviews split sharply: long-term members praise the on-site staff, while a three-year tenant reports long Wi-Fi outages and warm offices after hours when the air conditioning is turned down. Ask about the internet service level, after-hours air conditioning and the renewal cap before signing.
Also worth touring at Kierland
- Kierland Corporate Private Offices — 7010 E Acoma Dr, Ste 104 · (602) 369-3489 · Mon–Fri 6am–6pm. A small private-office suite with the earliest staffed hours we found in Scottsdale, which matters in summer. The conference room has wired ethernet and audio recording, and one visitor credits the staff with rescuing a 500-person Zoom presentation.
- Business Office Suites at Kierland — 7010 E Acoma Dr, Ste 101 · (480) 800-4820. Owner-operated executive suites in the same building, with a fully equipped conference room and easy client parking. Long-term tenants describe fair pricing and a landlord who answers the phone.
What coworking costs in Scottsdale in 2026
Most Scottsdale operators do not print a full price list on their own site. They quote by tour, and the rate moves with how full the building is. The numbers below are the starting prices listed on public booking sites on October 21, 2026. Treat them as a floor, not a quote.
$35 (Empire) to $63 (Industrious Old Town); booking-site average about $52
From $129/month at Spaces and Regus
From $235/month at Spaces and Regus
From $205–$225/month at Regus and Spaces
From $25/hour (Industrious Old Town) to $50/hour (Industrious Kierland)
From about $409/month listed; premium operators quote higher
⚠️ The renewal trap
The most expensive mistake in Scottsdale coworking is not the starting rate, it is the renewal. A tenant at one Old Town national-brand location reports a 12-month office at $675 a month being re-quoted at $1,800 a month at renewal, after being told to expect 3–10% increases. Before you sign anything longer than month-to-month, get the maximum renewal increase written into the agreement, and ask what the current members on your floor are paying.
What to check before you sign in Scottsdale
- Parking, every day, for a year. Old Town garages at $10 a day are roughly $200 a month for a full-time member. Kierland and Gainey Ranch spaces mostly park free. Put it in the comparison.
- Door hours versus staffed hours. Nearly every space here is staffed 8:30 or 9 to 5. If you start at 6am to beat the summer heat, confirm your membership tier includes after-hours door access.
- Snowbird season. From October through April the city fills up and open-seat plans get crowded. If you need a guaranteed desk in February, lock it in by September.
- Monsoon backup. July through September, haboobs and storms knock out power and internet. Ask what the backup connection is.
⚡ AZ INSIDER TIP
Tour two spaces on the same day at the hour you would actually work, not at 10am when every room is quiet. Then do lunch nearby. In Old Town that means the walk to Old Town restaurants and a happy hour after; at Kierland it means Kierland Commons and the Quarter. If you would not enjoy that routine five days a week, the membership will not stick.

How this list was built
Every space above is a real, operating Scottsdale business with its address, phone and hours checked against its Google listing, and its member reviews read in full. Nobody paid to be included, nobody paid to be ranked higher, and there is no sponsored tier: curated quality, zero pay-to-rank.
That is also why nothing on this page links out to the businesses listed. Inclusion is free and editorial; a link back to your website is not part of it. If you want a backlink and a full listing in the AZ Charged directory, see the advertising options.
