About Ponderosa Pines Resort
Ponderosa Pines Resort is a cabin and glamping resort on 17 wooded acres in Parks, Arizona, at 13358 E Old Route 66. Parks sits on Historic Route 66 between Flagstaff and Williams, about 20 miles west of Flagstaff, in the ponderosa pine forest at roughly 7,000 feet.
The resort opened in 2026 and was built around the forest rather than through it. The property holds 1,184 ponderosa pines, and the owners say no mature tree was cut to make room for the cabins. Guests stay in modern cabins with private hot tubs or in renovated vintage trailers, with a clubhouse and outdoor amenities shared across the grounds.

Day trips from Parks
Parks is a practical base for northern Arizona. The Grand Canyon South Rim is about 75 minutes away by car, and Sedona is about an hour. Closer in, Bearizona and the Grand Canyon Deer Farm are short drives toward Williams, and Oak Hill Snowplay is a winter stop for families when the snow comes in. Downtown Flagstaff and Williams are each around 20 to 30 minutes away for dining and supplies.
